Automatic Testing of Reactive Systems

The Synchrone group has a long history of work on automatic testing of reactive systems. These systems are particular in that they usually function in a closed loop with their environment. In order to provide realistic inputs to the System Under Test, we need to design environments that are also reactive. This was motivated the design of the Lurette testing tool, and then the LUTIN language, which can be seen as a stochastic extension of Lustre.

The work on LUTIN and Lurette led the creation of the Argosim start-up company, and the tool Stimulus. Of course we maintain a close relationship with Argosim.
